Ghost notes are essential to mastering the rhythmic power of slap bass. We’ll also add double stops and intervals beyond the octave to widen your vocabulary.

Lesson 4 - The Slappening

Learn a funky bass solo to impress your friends and crystallize the techniques you learned in lessons 1-3.

Lesson 5 - Muting, Setup And Tone

I show you how to adjust your EQ, compression, amp settings, string action and more, and then reveal the five best ways to master muting.

Lesson 6 - Left-Hand Techniques

The simplest way to increase slap speed is actually to add left-hand articulations. Learn how to use left-hand slaps, different-string hammer-ons and more to reach lightning slap speeds.

Lesson 7 - Intro To Double-Thumb
